"Radio Gnome Invisible". The song of welcome to planet Gong bizarre fairy-tale begins with a mysterious introduction that soon dissolves into its joyous nature of the album, telepathic contact between the pot head pixies, messengers flying in teapots, and the hero Zero, personified by Allen , is established with alternating moments of hilarious mysticism, the famous refrain "... nirvana, banana, mañana ...", and other revelations about the nature of the planet, with the tools that weave wildly between frequent changes of pace and scenery. "Flying Teapot". Judged by many as the most artistically interesting piece on the album, opens with a dip in space driven by the synthesizer and the languid sighs of Gilli, and the journey into the new reality, while the pot head pixie explains how to interpret telepathic messages, passes between the planets jazz Malherbe and those psychedelic guitars to result in a growing global dominated by syncopated drums, with Zero being invited to drink the magical Tibetan tea. The musicians independently, taking in turn the main scene, but the sequences are linked together with harmony and originality."Pot Head Pixies". The goblins appear to Zero with a funny text accompanied by a properly brilliant music and stunning, notify him that they are crazy freaks like him and to keep in touch with them."The Octave Doctors & The Crystal Machine. Dedication to the sacred" Doctors of the Eighth ", the powerful beings that rule the universe through music, instrumental piece written by Blake, nicknamed moonweed (grass moon), and conducted mainly by his synthesizer . This piece is reminiscent of "Welcome to the Machine", that Pink Floyd would have made two years later."Zero The Hero & The Witch's Spell". This long suite opens with the emphatic declaration of love Zero, which flows more air jazz disk, in which the inspired sax Malherbe communicates with excellent percussion Houari. Flying Teapot è un album del gruppo musicale di rock progressivo, Gong. È il primo della trilogia The Radio Gnome Invisible, che continuerà con i successivi Angel's Egg e You. Questo concept album si basa sugli elementi della mitologia Gong, presenti in maniera sporadica nei lavori precedenti, che qui vengono inseriti per la prima volta nella totalità dei testi.
"Radio Gnome Invisible". Il brano di benvenuto al fiabesco-strampalato pianeta Gong comincia con una misteriosa introduzione che presto si stempera nella natura gioiosa propria dell'album, il contatto telepatico tra i pot head pixies, messaggeri volanti nelle teiere, e l'eroe Zero, impersonificato da Allen, si instaura in un'alternanza di momenti di ilare misticismo, celebre il ritornello "...nirvana, banana, mañana...", ed altri di rivelazioni sulla natura del pianeta, con gli strumenti che si intrecciano vorticosamente tra frequenti cambi di ritmo e scenario.
"Flying Teapot". Giudicata da molti il pezzo artisticamente più interessante dell'album, si apre con un tuffo nello spazio guidato dal sintetizzatore e dai languidi sospiri di Gilli, ed il viaggio nella nuova realtà, mentre il pot head pixie spiega come interpretare i messaggi telepatici, passa tra i pianeti jazz di Malherbe e quelli psichedelici delle chitarre per sfociare in un globale crescendo sincopato dominato dalla batteria, con Zero che viene invitato a bere il magico tè tibetano. I musicisti suonano in modo indipendente, prendendosi a turno la scena principale, ma le sequenze sono legate tra loro con armonia ed originalità.
"Pot Head Pixies". I folletti si presentano a Zero con un buffo testo accompagnato adeguatamente da una musica brillante e sorprendente, gli comunicano che sono dei fricchettóni matti come lui e di tenersi in contatto con loro.
"The Octave Doctors & The Crystal Machine. Dedica ai sacri "Dottori dell'Ottava", i potenti esseri che regolano l'universo mediante la musica, brano strumentale scritto da Blake, soprannominato Moonweed (erba lunare), e condotto principalmente dal suo sintetizzatore. Questo pezzo richiama alla memoria "Welcome to the Machine", che i Pink Floyd avrebbero composto due anni dopo.
"Zero The Hero & The Witch's Spell". Questa lunga suite si apre con l'enfatica dichiarazione d'amore di Zero, che sfocia nell'aria più jazz del disco, in cui l'ispirato sax di Malherbe dialoga con le eccellenti percussioni di Houari. Nel corso del brano la Buona Strega, interpretata dalla Smyth con i suoi "space whispers", effettua un incantesimo a Zero, rendendolo schiavo dei suoi voleri.
"Witch's Song/I Am Your Pussy". Il brano di chiusura è collegato al precedente, ed è basato fondamentalmente sulle capacità ammaliatrici della strega, che dichiara di ricambiare l'amore di Zero nel più classico ed accattivante stile Gong: ritmi sorprendenti e trascinanti che strappano più di un sorriso all'ascoltatore. L'album si chiude con Zero che celebra l'amore reciproco offrendo alla strega pesce fritto e patatine.
