Focus II (Moving Waves) is the second album by the Dutch progressive rock band Focus. 'Moving Waves' is the centerpiece of the discography of Focus. from start to finish, this album is permeated with a special atmosphere. From the first listen you understand the style of the band! This is the album that will launch the band due to hit Hocus Pocus, by all often regarded as the pearl of the entire production Focus. A solid guitar riffs, sweeping and cutting edge, a powerful bass line, the battery between verse and chorus explodes in the immense, some perhaps not a masterpiece, but it is certainly pleasant to listen to this disc and it can broaden your knowledge of progressive.

'Moving Waves' è il fulcro della discografia dei Focus. da inizio alla fine, questo disco è permeato di un'atmosfera tutta particolare. Già dal primo ascolto si capisce lo stile della band!questo è l'album che lancerà la band grazie alla hit Hocus Pocus, da tutti spesso considerata come la perla di tutta la produzione Focus. Un riff di chitarra solido, travolgente e tagliente, una linea di basso potente, la batteria che fra strofa e ritornello esplode nell'immenso, certo forse non è un capolavoro, però sicuramente è un disco piacevole da ascoltare e che può allargare la tua conoscenza di progressive.
